This portrait depicts Lesula, a new species of monkey discovered in 2012; its body was painted in shades of brown with a range of iridescent blues.
Made out of albino refractory clay with light chamotte.
Heated at 1250 °C
Enamels used: both commercial ones and some of my own formula.
Piece size: less tan 27 cm.
